Prompt Shoot Inspiration

1. I think this photo has a good story behind it and shows a lot about the mood and inspiration towards football

2. I personally think its a very good photo but I'm pretty sure this is unfortunately a merger photo because it does fit any rules of photos

1. I also like the story behind this photo. both shows true love and passion towards football and it gives off a really good and sad vibe

2. I think this photo is rule of thirds, no not focusing on the sad player and police officer but the scores in the back, the upper right hand corner

3. The football field and classrooms and try to recreate these images

4. I want to go in classrooms in E hall or some fine art classrooms

5. I will try to find a story and purpose for every photo because I think thats the best thing a photographer can reach for, for an amazing photo

Academic Shoot Preview

The Story

I think photo tells a really great story, the kind of story that you can make up yourself. These students, they're seniors, about to graduate and start their adulthood life. Graduation in just 2 days, only a couple more days to really have fun in school before their whole childhood is washed away. They spend it playing one of the worlds best games from elementary school trying to relive when they were younger.

Action and Emotion

This girls face says it all. The expression . on her face shows how much fun she's trying to have, and she is. Excited to go off to college but even more excited for the next two days having endless fun. The action, up in the air she goes with a number of students tossing her high into the air, high into the future.

Filling The Frame

This photo is a couple of kids in their welding class making new amazing things. The story of what their making fills this frame. And the sparks, the sparks resemble of life in the kids who are creative and excited about learning to make new stuff and be prepared to show off whatever their minds have created.

Post Shoot Reflection

Post Shoot Reflection

1. Sometimes I had to be in uncomfortable positions to get these photos. I also had to find more "deeper" reasons of a prompt in my photos. Like a less obvious way of seeing Happy or Bowie
2. I definitely thought about how I was gonna hold the camera the most. How I was going to exactly hold and balance it in my hands or how angled and turned it needed to be to get the shot perfect.
3. I found myself in the shooting process moving my body either a lot or just even a centimeter to accommodate the photos
4. In the happy photo I used the rule of simplicity, i had the bright flowers as my subject and used the blue sky as a plain back round. The metal photo I used the rule framing in a way. The dark trees give the illusion that they're framing the wind chimes and the bright green leaves in the back. For the bowie photo I used the rule of thirds with Katy in the lower right area with steps and trees surrounding the back round. I also used the rule of thirds with the Square photo with having the 'Keep Out' sign in the lower right area pulling all attention to that.
5.  I would totally be all into this shoot again to prove what I've learned about more photo taking and make them better just to show that I'm capable of doing better.
6. I think doing a color shoot would be fun, like red or pink a fun bright color. Doing a feeling prompt shoot could be fun like sad, mad, happy, surprised or along those lines to see how different each mood in a picture is. Then i would want to do a people prompt, like getting certain photos of people just around bowie doing random things like walking, hugging and get a lot of undirected photos.

Comments

i wrote a comment of his bowie photo :)

Merging 9/11

Merging 9/11
This photo is a good example of merging. Theres no real subject to it and no rule to it. The people are cut off from the wist and below in a bad and awkward way. And in general its just not a very good photo.

Framing 9/11

Framing 9/11

This photo is great for framing because it captures the main subject of the photo surrounded by the dark wall with a hole in it. It looks really good since its dark and then through the framing is a busy and light area/subject.

Balance 9/11

Balance 9/11
I picked this photo for balance because it almost looks like this photo has been mirrored. The shape is identical on both sides which gives a really cool illusion to this photo. I definitely like this one because of the balance effect.

Lines 9/11

Lines 9/11
This is a really good photo for lines because obviously the whole back round is lines. The main subject is the man jumping from the tower and the lines are surrounding it. Giving the photo a cool kind of illusion effect.

Rule of thirds 9/11

Rule of Thirds 9/11
I picked this photo for rule of thirds because it was just about the closest one i could find. For the most part the horizon helps divide the picture in thirds and the source of the bomb is the main focus. It is in the upper left hand corner which draws your attention to that corner immediately.

Simplicity 9/11

Simplicity 9/11
I picked this photo for simplicity because the back round is a solid blue color. The main focus in the midd round lets everyone focus on the subject without any distractions.

21 questions about cameras

1.A small hole is made in a wall, through the hole light is shined through which projects the scenery from the other side of the wall through the wall onto the opposite wall.
2.Isaac Newton and Christian Huygens perfected the process of making good quality glass lenses.
3.Joseph Nicephore invented the first film to create the first successful camera.
4. Light still passes through the lens and exposes the film, the end result is still a picture. As it always will be.
5.Digital camera's use an electronic sensor called a CCD to capture the photograph.
6. Auto mode causes the camera to completely control flash and exposure. Program mode just captures the photo, just point and shoot.
7.When the camera blurs out the back round and only focuses on the main object.
8.To freeze the motion the camera will use the fastest shutter speed possible.
9.For manual mode the photographer must set the shutter and aperture mode.
10.you would use a half press on the trigger button because the camera will respond faster.
11.This symbol means you have disabled the flash, maybe because it make the lightning more dramatic than it needs to be when using natural light.
12. the auto flash will fire off if the camera thinks the photograph needs more light.
13.the photo will get way to over exposed and look almost completely white and bright.
14.if there is not enough light the photo will look very dark and look very pixilated.
15.a stop is a measurement of light. as every two light bulbs counts as 1 stop.
16. if there were two suns the brightness of the stop would go up by 1 stop.
17. if there were 4 suns the amount of stops that would go up by would be two stops.
18.the affect a longer shutter speed would be more light.
19.the affect a shorter shutter speed has is less light.
20.the aperture controls the amount of light let into the photographs
21.when you adjust the aperture you can increase the light by changing the speed of the shutter.
